No event has been formerly planned yet. If we can gather enough momentum in 2025 we might be able to arrange for a fall event. Its very possible we will be hosting this event at Robbers Cave Lodge in South East Oklahoma. There are a few other ideas and locations but its likely whatever location we chose will be an outdoors cabin style location with an indoors area for speakers and workshops.
Our goal will be to attract people from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri. We want the atmosphere to be vacation style and at the same time highly educational and focused without distractions. The type of people at these kind of events will be very interesting to interact with and we are sure will spawn new decentralized projects and ideas. Another thing we would like to emphasize is lots of food vendors. All of which will be required to accept crypto-currencies.
The general population is unlikely to learn about future trends using centralized search engines like Google, Microsoft, or Yahoo because these platforms inherently limit exposure to diverse perspectives. Centralized search engines rely on algorithms that often create filter bubbles, showing users content based on their behavior and preferences, which can skew their understanding of broader trends. Additionally, these systems may be subject to corporate biases and government pressures to censor certain information, further restricting access to a wide range of ideas.
In contrast, learning about future trends should come from individuals who possess deep expertise in AI and decentralized technologies. These experts can provide unbiased insights and diverse perspectives that are often overlooked by centralized platforms. Freedom events serve as vital venues for this kind of knowledge exchange, bringing together experts and enthusiasts who can share cutting-edge information and foster innovation in an open and unrestricted environment.
In summary, while centralized search engines may offer convenience and familiarity, they fail to provide a comprehensive understanding of future trends due to their limitations in diversity and potential biases. True learning about emerging technologies like AI and decentralized systems is better achieved through community-driven platforms and events that prioritize freedom of information and open dialogue.
If anyone has attended any of the following events they will understand the focus. Below are some of the model events we are learning from. Similar topics and speakers. We are not competing with these events and in reality we are just building more of what they teach with a reach that is easier for people to attend in the heart of America and is within reasonable driving distance of 25 states. Of course we will want some of the same speakers to present. This is NOT a Bitcoin event. None of these events focus on Bitcoin and we are not going to focus on Bitcoin. There are far more important topics to discuss than an open ledger 15 year old technology.

Why SoonerFest? In Oklahoma, “sooner” refers to settlers who entered the Unassigned Lands illegally before the official start of the Land Run of 1889. The term originated from the “sooner clause” in Proclamation 288, which stated that anyone who entered and occupied the land prior to the official opening time would be denied the right to claim land. These early settlers, known as “sooners,” hid out until the legal time of entry to secure choice homesteads, giving them an unfair advantage over law-abiding settlers.
Initially, the term “sooner” had a very negative connotation, but over time, the meaning evolved. By the 1920s, Oklahomans adopted the nickname as a badge of pride. Today, “sooner” is also the nickname for the University of Oklahoma’s athletic teams and represents a spirit of resilience and perseverance. Oklahoma has also been known as a state that supports and protects constitutional rights and with its 38 federally recognized tribes, Oklahoma has the third largest number of tribes of any state. Because of the beauty, central location and overall outdoor and spiritual environment of Robbers Cave state park it is on our list of number one locations to hold this event.
